“ Stopped in for lunch while shopping in downtown Mckinney. I had the house salad, added brisket and substituted the shallot vinegarette. Salad was very fresh and brisket had a good smokey taste. My husband had the sausage tray appetizer. Good place for a relaxed lunch. We walked a few blocks from downtown. They do have a large parking lot. You can see the silos murals kitty corner across the street. ”

The portions were just right for us. The waitress was really awesome. She came across genuinely friendly and seemed enthusiastic about the menu items we had asked about. At some point during our meal, the owner came over for a quick chat, which is always a huge plus. ”

My BBQ was very good but that burger is out of this world. From the hostess to our server Danica, everyone was really on point. ”
“ One of my favorite spots. Great food, drinks and ambiance. My favorite is the pimento cheese appetizer and the jalapeno cornbread. Both are amazing. For my meal I like the waygu sirloin, asparagus and the garlic mashed potatoes. Everything tastes great. ”
“ It’s been a while since I’ve given 5 stars across the board but, Local Yocal lives up to it! From the moment you pull in to the parking lot you can tell, this place is a spot you want to be. The ambiance and decor is nice inside the bar is a sight to see. All the staff are friendly and helpful. I had a rib plate with a salad, my buddy had a brisket and jalapeno cheeseburger (which also had a beef patty) with fries. The salad was fresh and crisp, I had it with their house dressing which I highly recommend. The ribs came with sauce on the side rather than on the ribs which I really like (most places over sauce to mask the quality of their meat). The person I was with also got the brisket Mac n cheese to go. The price was a bit lofty but not much more than you’d expect from any BBQ joint, it was just north of 20/person. ”
“ Was recommended this place and drove about a hour to try it and oh was it worth the drive. The food was everything and more. The service was over the top, I sat at the bar and the bartender was very knowledgeable in explaining in detail the menu options along with drink recommendations. As I was recommended this place I will do just that myself. One of the best dining experiences I ever had and the steak was to die for keep taking care of the staff you can tell they enjoy and take pride in what they do ”
